- Takeoff or Landing?
Takeoff! Nothing beats the feeling of accelerating, and then all of a sudden, you are in the air. It always gives me the feeling of excitement, as to me taking off really represents that an adventure has begun!
- Do you enjoy the culture or the scenery more when you travel?
Definitely the culture. I enjoy learning about a city or country through its people; they know it best. I love being able to witness how people live and interact with one another in other parts of the world; it is way more fulfilling than seeing a nice view. You can get good scenery anywhere, but cultures are unique to that location.
- Do you have a unique or special story regarding flying or aviation that that you would like to share?
One time on a flight back to the States from Europe, I was seated next to a young individual around the same age as me. It had been a rough day, but we ended up talking almost the whole 7 hours of the flight, making it go by incredibly quickly. What started as a terrible day turned into one of my favorite flights of all time!
